Universal Audio released the new UAD PlugIns Software Version 6. It includes new Plugins from well known Developers such as Brainworx, SPL and Ampex.

In v6 there is no need for the VST-To-RTAS wrapper. Universal Audio uses the RTAS as a mechanism to view, edit, save and recall the UAD plug-ins in Pro Tools, but the actual audio processing is still performed on the DSP of the UAD card.

Universal Audio v6 is 100% compatible with OS X Lion!

Brainworx bx_digital V2 EQ Plug-In is a state-of-the-art digital mastering equalizer.

UAD Plug-Ins v5.9.1 Software Download verfügbar

Das neue UAD Software-Update v5.9.1 steht ab sofort zum Download zur Verfügung. Das Update fixed das Problem mit den Input/Output Gain des Lexicon 224. In der aktuellen UAD-Version funktioniert der Recall jetzt richtig. Das Lexicon 224 ist seit dem Update v5.9 verfügbar.

Dringendes Update für alle die das legendäre Lexicon 224 auf ihrer UAD-Card nutzen.

Novation V-Station 1.7 Update Download Free

Obwohl die V-Station schon sehr lange auf dem Markt ist, wurde jetzt ein neues kostenloses Update zum Download bereit gestellt.
Ist sie doch ein Klassiker, die gepflegt werden will.

Es wurde zwar nur ein kleiner Bug gefixt, jedoch führte dieser zu unkontrollierten Audio-Aussetzern bzw. Spikes. Und das machte es manchmal schwer mit ihr zu arbeiten.

Weiterhin wird OSX 10.4 Tiger laut Novation nicht weiter unterstützt und es gibt noch keine 64Bit Version.

Fixes:

+ fixed an uninitialised variable causing audio spikes, predominantly with the AU version.

Das Update steht für Mac OS X und Windows zur Verfügung.

UAD Plug-Ins v5.9 Software steht zum Download bereit

Das neue UAD Software Update in Version 5.9 ist da!

Mit dem Update reiht sich eine Legende zu den wohl besten PlugIns auf DSP-Basis mit ein.

Des Weiteren wurden für das UAD-2 Satellite (Mac) Kompatibilitätsprobleme mit Avids/Digidesigns 002 & 003 Interfaces gefixt. Mit dem Update ist es auch möglich, zwei UAD-2 Satellite als eine Unit zu verbinden. Die Latenzzeiten wurden von 512 Samples auf 256 Samples (minimum) reduziert.

Natürlich wurden auch Bugfixes für die komplette UAD-2 Reihe, Studer A800 und für den Mac beseitigt.

Die PlugIns stehen 14 Tage lang kostenlos zum testen bereit.

Avid Pro Tools 9 erhältlich

Pro Tools wird native! Lange haben wir darauf gewartet. Endlich unterwegs mit dem MacBook mit Pro Tools arbeiten, ohne irgendeine MBox mitzuschleppen. Pro Tools 9 bietet gegenüber Pro Tools 8 LE nicht nur 96 Spuren (Playback) und 32 Spuren (Recording), sondern auch 160 AUX-Channels, sowie 256 Busses. Das Wichtigste jedoch für mich persönlich ist das in Pro Tools 9 das ADC (Automatic Delay Compensation) unterstützt wird. Kein hin-und-her rechnen mehr. Keine PlugIns von Drittanbietern, die das ADC teilweise vorgegaukelt haben. OMF-Import ohne Paid-Option!

Wer sich für ein Upgrade mit dem Complete Production Toolkit 2 entscheidet, dem stehen dann noch mehr Funktionen, zB. Surround 7.1 Mixing, VCA Mixing, noch mehr Spuren und vieles mehr.

Antares AutoTune 7 veröffentlicht

Vor einigen Tagen berichtete ich darüber, dass Antares AutoTune 7 vorgestellt hat. Jetzt ist es aber soweit! Ab sofort ist AutoTune 7 im Handel erhältlich. Selbstverständlich steht auch eine Download-Version auf der Herstellerseite zur Verfügung.

Ab sofort steht in der Version 7 auch die Zeitkomponente zur Verfügung, so dass nicht nur Pitch-Korrekturen durchgeführt werden können, sondern auch das Timing des Audiomaterials kann wie bei Celemony Melodyne bearbeitet werden.

Antares kündigt Autotune 7 an

Antares hat Auto-Tune 7 vorgestellt. Das neue Auto-Tune ist die zweite Generation von Antares’ Evo Voice Processing Technology und bietet noch mehr pitch shifting und throat moedling Möglichkeiten an. Der Schwerpunkt wurde hierbei auf die Natürlichkeit gelegt. Die Möglichkeit im grafischen Modus Noten via MIDI einzuspielen, ist ein klasse Feature, da es den Workflow enorm verbessert.
